About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Freelance Transfer Tour Director to join our team at EF Education First. As a Freelance Transfer Tour Director, you will be responsible for meeting groups of students and/or adults at the airport and transferring them to their main Tour Director via coach or public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet groups of students and/or adults at the airport and transfer them to their main Tour Director via coach or public transport.
- Be the face of EF and represent the company at all times.
- Communicate with the group's Tour Director before and during the transfer.
- Communicate with suppliers and EF Operations before and during the transfer where applicable.
- Ensure the safety of the group/individual travellers and their belongings.
- Purchase local transportation tickets and handle payments where applicable.
Requirements
- Fluent written & spoken English.
- Based in Northern Ireland, 45 minutes from Belfast airports.
- Able to legally work in the UK and Ireland.
- Available from April to September.
- Willingness to work some early mornings from 5am onwards.
- Organizational skills & good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Flexible to adapt to ever-changing situations.
- Remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Skills
- Experience leading groups or as a group leader.
- Familiarity with your nearest airport.
- Knowledge of North American culture.
