Commercial Manager - Bid Modeller

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager - Bid Modeller to join our UK Transport Business. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in the development of winning commercial strategies for design and build projects and design frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of bid teams to develop and implement winning commercial strategies for design and build projects and design frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Director and Bid Manager to present commercial strategies through the organisation's governance process.
  • Manage financial risk and opportunity across the business through both the bidding and project delivery phase.
  • Work with project managers and directors to manage commercial risk and opportunities at a project level.
  • Advise teams on commercial contractual issues as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience of bidding for engineering design services on design and build projects as the contractor's designer.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract, particularly working with contracts that include the NEC Schedule of Cost Components.
  • Experience supporting the successful delivery of civil engineering projects either as a project manager or in a previous commercial role.
