**Sales and Events Executive Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Executive to join our team at the Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling conference and events sales enquiries, taking a proactive lead in all event enquiries, and ensuring effective communication with the operations team to deliver successful events.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Taking a proactive lead in all event enquiries, including weddings.
  • Ensuring effective communication with the operations team to deliver successful events.
  • Conducting thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clients.
  • Managing event lead portals with a prompt and proactive approach.
  • Participating in hotel sales activity, including sales calls, client entertaining, and supporting FAM trips.
  • Maximizing revenue opportunities and supporting further sales activities within the hotel.
  • Identifying and collecting sales leads, as well as growing and developing existing customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events role.
  • Knowledge of the Manchester market.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrity.

  • Achieving budget targets.
  • Meeting internal audit standards.
  • Maintaining a response time average under 2 hours.
  • Achieving 85% and above in all BDRC qualifying calls/emails.
  • Achieving a minimum score of 8 NPS on Venue Verdict responses.
