**Sales and Events Executive Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Executive to join our team at the Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling conference and events sales enquiries, taking a proactive lead in all event enquiries, and ensuring effective communication with the operations team to deliver successful events.
Responsibilities:
- Handling conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Taking a proactive lead in all event enquiries, including weddings.
- Ensuring effective communication with the operations team to deliver successful events.
- Conducting thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clients.
- Managing event lead portals with a prompt and proactive approach.
- Participating in hotel sales activity, including sales calls, client entertaining, and supporting FAM trips.
- Maximizing revenue opportunities and supporting further sales activities within the hotel.
- Identifying and collecting sales leads, as well as growing and developing existing customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events role.
- Knowledge of the Manchester market.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrity.

- Achieving budget targets.
- Meeting internal audit standards.
- Maintaining a response time average under 2 hours.
- Achieving 85% and above in all BDRC qualifying calls/emails.
