Accounts Receivable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team at Tarmac. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of cash and aged debt performance.
Main Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of credit control specialists, ensuring accountability for results and service performance.
- Capability Development: Develop and implement individual development plans, empowering team members to reach their full potential.
- Debt Management: Responsible for managing debtor ledgers, ensuring cash receipts are managed in line with strategic financial and commercial targets, credit rules of business, credit insurance arrangements, and financial controls.
- Customer Management: Develop holistic management of customers who trade across multiple business units and product lines through various customer accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Provide accurate weekly cash forecasting and variance reporting, as well as monthly performance reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
- Process Improvement: Drive a lean process culture, including targeted reduction in transactional costs via process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Deputy Role: Deputise for Senior Manager Collections as required.
- Order to Cash Expertise: Provide expertise in Order to Cash processes.
- Business Projects: Support delivery of business projects.
We are looking for a CICM Qualified candidate with previous experience working as an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control Manager in a fast-paced Shared Services environment. The ideal candidate will have:

- Data Handling: Data handling skills.
- SAP AR Experience: Experience with SAP AR.
