Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter purchase invoices onto the Purchase Ledger
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Obtain and post missing invoices in a timely manner
  • Set up new suppliers and update bank details as necessary
  • Perform general 'housekeeping' of the Purchase Ledger to ensure it remains up-to-date and accurate

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to effectively manage suppliers
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
