About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legionella Risk Specialist to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a key member of our water hygiene team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential Legionella risks in water systems
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent Legionella outbreaks
  • Collaborate with our internal quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Compile accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Legionella risk management and water hygiene best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the water hygiene industry, with a strong background in Legionella risk assessment and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulatory legislation and practice
  • Competent IT skills, particularly in Apple applications
  • Full UK driving license and Enhanced DBS clearance
