Youth Support Specialist

">This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker – Children in Care (16-18). We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide tailored support to young people aged 16-18 as they transition from care to independent living.
">About the Role:
">As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in guiding young people through this critical phase of their lives. You will work closely with the young person, their social worker, and other professionals to deliver bespoke support based on their unique needs.
">Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, assisting with daily tasks, managing challenging behaviours, and offering emotional support. You will also be required to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to the young person's care.
">Key Skills and Qualifications:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with young people and other professionals. You should have experience working with young people, particularly those with diverse and complex needs or challenging behaviours.
">A relevant qualification in social care, youth work, or a related field is desirable, but not essential. You must be committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, and be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
