Role: Support Manager
Location: Newbury
Setting: Supported Living - Learning Disabilities/Challenging Behaviour
Salary: £38,000 plus benefits
A leading care company is seeking an experienced Support Manager to join their team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in supported living services to take on a leadership role and contribute to the company's mission.
As the Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff, developing and implementing operational services, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained. You will have a strong 'can do' attitude and be able to build strong links in the community, lead the team, and support clients to live life their way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the team to deliver high-quality services
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans
- Ensure CQC compliance in all aspects of the service
- Recruitment, training, and performance management
- Financial administration and budgeting
- Assessment of care plans and rotas
- Provide excellent leadership and management
- Provide hands-on support and on-call support when required
Requirements:
- Previous management experience in a similar setting
- Sound knowledge of CQC standards
- Experience working with residents with learning disabilities/challenging behaviour
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this
- Stable working history
- Driver with access to a vehicle
