SEN Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teacher to join our team at Academics in Newport. As a specialist in supporting children with complex additional learning needs, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the unique requirements of our students.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our SEN students
  • Collaborating closely with staff and families to implement individualized learning plans
  • Providing regular feedback on student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

To be successful in this role, you will require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching, a strong understanding of SEN practices including behavior management strategies, and an Enhanced DBS. We can offer regular long-term work, weekly pay starting from £835, online hassle-free timesheets, and a refer-a-friend scheme where you can earn up to £125.

About the Role:

  1. Teach SEN students using evidence-based methods and collaborative approaches.
  2. Work with school staff and SEN coordinators to develop personalized learning plans for students.
  3. Engage with parents and guardians to ensure seamless communication and progress updates.
