Electronics Test Lead

As a key member of the Advanced Energy team, the Electronics Test Lead will be responsible for performing electronic tests of high voltage power supplies and developing products to meet project schedules and performance standards for New Product Introduction (NPI).

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of circuitry and troubleshooting is required to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Fault finding and contributing to design development improvements are essential skills for this role.
  • Using specifications, drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units is a key responsibility.
  • Maintaining fixturing, performing calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance are also key responsibilities.
  • Training and developing NPI test technicians is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Establishing and directing priorities for the team working with NPI build Lead and NPI Manager is a key responsibility.
  • Organizing and executing schedules and daily work assignments as needed; driving teammates to hit established goals is a key responsibility.
  • Communicating openly and effectively in a professional manner and working under limited supervision is essential.
  • Accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth of the relevant area is a key responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing is preferred.
  • Proven ability and experience leading a team and maintaining flexibility is essential.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts is required.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge to include AE Nexus, Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
  • Proficient in all pertinent SAP applications is required.
  • Minimum of two years electronic testing and troubleshooting (or equivalent) is required.
