Quality Assurance Officer/Manager

At John Charcol - Independent Mortgage Expertise, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer/Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance are maintained throughout our activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake FLoD adviser file monitoring activities as required by the role.
  • Facilitate remedial activity on quality issues identified through effective feedback and monitoring of remedial actions to completion.
  • Consistently meet file review standards within prescribed timescales required under the T&C policy.
  • Sample testing in response to identified risks and quality concerns.
  • Assist the Compliance Manager with monthly MI/data for timely board reporting.
  • Generate best practice and provide feedback to the business to help improve file quality and record-keeping standards.
  • Proactively develop and maintain a strong core Compliance knowledge and keep up to date with key regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a regulated or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in the UK, and in particular FCA.
  • Good IT skills in a range of relevant applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
