Job Title: Specialist Doctor in Highland Sexual Health

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Doctor to join our team in Highland Sexual Health. As a Specialist Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive sexual health services to the population of North Highland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist care for patients with complex sexual health needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated sexual health services
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines for sexual health services
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the GMC
  • At least 10 years of clinical experience post-registration
  • 6 years of experience in community SRH specialty
  • Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health (DFSRH)
  • Letters of Competence in Intrauterine Techniques (LoC IUT) and Subdermal Implants (LoC SDI)
  • FSRH registered trainer

Working Hours:

8 PA's (32hrs) per week, based mainly at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness

Salary:

£88,118 - £100,011 (Per Annum, Pro Rata)
