Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lay Chaplain to join our team at St James' Catholic High School. As a Lay Chaplain, you will play a vital role in supporting the spiritual and pastoral needs of our students, staff, and wider community.

About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating religious education and pastoral care activities across the school. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures related to these areas, as well as providing guidance and support to students, staff, and parents. We offer a competitive salary of £28,923.22 to £32,886.44 per annum, plus benefits such as contributory pension scheme and professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver high-quality religious education programs that meet the needs of all students
* Provide pastoral care and support to students, including individual and group sessions
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate religious education into the curriculum
* Develop and maintain relationships with local churches and community groups to enhance the school's outreach and partnerships

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Theology or a related field
* Experience of working in a school setting, preferably in a chaplaincy role
* Strong understanding of Catholic teachings and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
