About Portfolio HR & Reward

Portfolio HR & Reward is seeking a skilled Compensation, Benefits and Pensions Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract. The role will be based in London, working on a hybrid basis.

The EMEA Compensation and Benefits team is responsible for designing and governing benefits plans, programs and policies across the EMEA Region. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with EMEA HR Generalists, in-country vendors and other stakeholders to design and govern benefits that support employee physical, financial and emotional well-being.

You will be responsible for establishing governance routines applicable to benefit programs, ensuring effective risk management. This includes partnering with wider Benefits and Pensions leads to ensure effective coverage of host country benefits during assignment.

In addition, you will oversee the governance and management of legacy international pension plans based offshore, collaborating with Trustees and Tax advisors to ensure compliance, governance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective governance routines for benefit programs
  • Partner with EMEA HR Generalists and stakeholders to design and govern benefits
  • Oversee the governance and management of legacy international pension plans
  • Collaborate with Trustee and Tax advisors to ensure compliance and risk management
  • Work with wider Benefits and Pensions leads to ensure effective coverage of host country benefits

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex principles
  • Highly numerate and analytical with experience in Excel and other software tools
  • Confidence in consulting with senior partners and delivering complex benefits solutions
  • Risk-attuned mindset with understanding of benefits governance and internal governance models
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to develop project frameworks and stakeholder engagement
  • Confident stakeholder management with ability to work with consultants and vendors
  • Team player with ability to collaborate across HR and outside of HR
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
