Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Classroom Support)

Type of Work: Full-time

Salary: £95+ per day

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Primary School Support Worker to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

You will assist in the classroom, fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will also collaborate with teachers and support staff to create tailored learning strategies for SEN pupils.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with students requiring additional support
  • Assist in the classroom, creating a positive and productive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop effective learning strategies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • A calm and patient approach to supporting learners who may face emotional or behavioural challenges
  • A team player who can work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
