Sales Manager - Precision Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive the sales initiatives and market presence in the optical components and optical systems industries for a well-established organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering revenue targets and leading the sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Create compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to engage clients and drive sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects to understand their requirements and provide solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings to provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead the sales activities to achieve sales targets and coordinate sales events and campaigns
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Plan and participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase products and services

Requirements

  • A track record of multiple project control, budget control, implementation, and planning
  • Strong understanding of precision engineering principles, processes, technologies, and ideally, optics
  • Proven experience in technical sales and business development management
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Full driving license
