About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work in the home of our service user, providing care and support to enable them to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Support with moving and handling, including transfers and repositioning
  • Engage in social and domestic activities to promote the service user's well-being and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the service user, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and epilepsy management
  • Desirable: oxygen management and oral suctioning
