Job Title: Children's Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our service users, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and support. You will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and other clinical care needs as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with moving and handling, including transfers and repositioning
  • Administer medication as required, following established protocols and procedures
  • Monitor and report any changes in service user's condition or behavior
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal care skills, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Moving and handling skills, including transfers and repositioning
  • Medication administration skills, following established protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
