Job Title: Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our team at AJ Catering Staff. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational, commercial, and financial aspects of our contracts, ensuring high standards of customer service and exceptional contract delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the contract support team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient contract delivery.
  • Manage the daily operations, including staff planning and resource allocation.
  • Design and implement safe work systems in line with client and company policies to manage and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain a robust compliance regime, actively managing any exceptions and risks.
  • Assist the Account Manager in developing a financial plan for the contract, focusing on revenue, profit delivery, cost reduction, and contract growth.
  • Oversee invoicing processes, ensuring all chargeable works are accurately captured and submitted on time.
  • Support financial performance and coordinate additional costs related to suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Actively manage asset condition and provide clients with management information to support asset replacement and contract growth.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and identify better ways of working to drive efficiencies.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to the contract support team.
  • Ensure team members receive necessary training and development to reach their full potential.
  • Foster a learning environment and promote company values.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft programs and web-based platforms.
  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
