Job Summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior People Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Enter, maintain, and/or process information in the timekeeping system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, address changes, and other information.
  • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding of resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and timekeeping management systems.
  • Performs special projects as needed and provides support to the HR team.
