Job Summary

The Senior Contracts Officer will play a key role in the commercial success of TT Electronics by coordinating bid teams and preparing high-quality bids. This end-to-end role will cover bid preparation, submission, and contract management through program execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare commercial aspects of bids, working with the Estimating Officer to ensure timely submission and adherence to procedures and governance.
  • Produce high-quality final bid documents within defined tender deadlines.
  • Provide commercial support to the Business Development team to secure new opportunities with existing and new customer bases.
  • Organize and lead Gate Reviews for bids, producing high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support the Senior Legal & Commercial Manager with contract negotiations and terms and conditions queries.
  • Work with Project/Program Managers to provide commercial support for contract execution.

Requirements

  • Higher-level qualification in Business or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in opportunity, sales, or bid environments for complex bids.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in MS software, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
