Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Officer to join our team at TT Electronics. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in preparing and managing winning bids, as well as contract management throughout the programme execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the commercial aspects of bids, working closely with the Estimating Officer to ensure timely submission and adherence to governance procedures.
  • Produce high-quality final bid documents within defined tender deadlines, taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process.
  • Provide commercial support to the Business Development team, assisting with the securing of new opportunities and acting as the primary Commercial point of contact for customers.
  • Organise and lead Gate Reviews for bids, producing high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support the Senior Legal & Commercial Manager with respect to terms and conditions queries and contract negotiations.
  • Work with Project/Programme Managers to provide Commercial support with respect to contract execution.

Requirements

  • Higher-level qualification in Business or associated discipline, or previous experience in an opportunity, sales, bid environment for complex bids.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels within the organisation.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and react quickly to urgent requirements.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in MS software, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
