Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to join our team at a leading hospital in Reading. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exemplary pharmacy service in line with current legislation and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service within a hospital setting.
  • Providing advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients for the safe and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Leading, motivating, and managing the pharmacy team with excellent leadership.
  • Advising on the safe management of medicines across the hospital.
  • Leading quality improvement projects and audits within the pharmacy.
  • Promoting a patient-focused, multidisciplinary approach to healthcare delivery.

Package and Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £47,000 to £52,500.

Requirements:

  • GPHC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinical setting.
  • Leadership or managerial experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Ability to share evidence-based practices to enhance service standards.
