Mental Health Nursing Simulation and Skills Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant simulation and skills team as a Mental Health Nursing Simulation and Skills Teacher. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the creative design and delivery of specialist mental health nursing simulation and skills, including risk management, mental state assessment, and the development and maintenance of therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver simulation-based teaching materials and resources to enhance the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of mental health nursing students.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate evidence-based teaching materials and resources across a range of modules and programs of study, with a focus on mental health nursing.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, and development of course and curriculum objectives and materials, ensuring the professional, educational, and clinical credibility of simulated practice components.
  • Supervise, mark, and assess coursework and examinations, providing feedback to nursing students as part of a module team.
  • Fulfill the role of personal tutor and academic assessor to a group of mental health nursing students.
