Job Overview

The London Borough of Newham is seeking a highly skilled Youth Justice Specialist to join its team. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to contribute to the delivery of high-quality youth justice services aimed at preventing and reducing offending among children and young people.

In this role, you will be responsible for case management for high and medium-risk youth offenders, ensuring coordinated, innovative, and child-centered intervention plans are executed. You will participate in youth court services, creating comprehensive reports for both Youth and Crown Courts. The role also involves conducting risk assessments and delivering interventions through individual or group programs.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant professional qualification in the youth justice domain, such as a degree in social work, community justice, or youth work. You are skilled in managing high-risk young people, effectively engaging and influencing them towards rehabilitation.

Benefits
