Youth Justice Intervention Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of young people with offending behaviour, addressing factors against desistance and promoting factors for desistance
  • Support children, young people, and families with a range of needs and risks related to offending behaviour
  • Attend Youth Court and act as court officer, including occasional weekend duties

This is a full-time position based in TW1, with a competitive rate of pay £26+ per hour (negotiable based on experience). The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the youth justice system, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work restoratively with all children, young people, and victims of crime.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and families with offending behaviour
  • Ability to work effectively with a caseload and accurate recording
  • Evidence of continuing professional development within Youth Justice
  • Local Authority / Public Sector experience
