The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's marketing strategy, working closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that support the department's overall objectives and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the key accounts marketing strategy to deliver lead generation and retention targets.
- Undertake research on key accounts, target markets, and competitors to identify potential areas for investment.
- Be a champion for the development of key accounts and work with third-party agencies to bring this strategy to life.
- Manage the assigned marketing budget, ensuring alignment with organisational policy and procedures.
Regional Marcomms
- Develop relationships with partners, influencers, trade media, and industry associations to leverage relevant opportunities for CDE.
- Oversee and implement the planning and evaluation of all marcomms targeting key accounts, in conjunction with in-house and external agency support.
- Define marketing collateral requirements, managing production, such as project case studies, project videos, and all CDE literature.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of attendance and speaking opportunities at external events.
Customer Relationship Management
- Oversee the management of accurate databases for customers and prospects, supporting other business functions in their execution.
- Develop and use up-to-date databases to build relationships with key accounts and targets, achieving annual revenue targets.
Evaluation
- Supervise information gathering or the compilation of statistics pertinent to the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans.
- Prepare and deliver reports outlining progress against KPIs.
- Ensure consistency with key accounts in developing pipelines/opportunities for Business Development forecasts.
Other
- Manage direct reports, ensuring regular performance reviews and staff understanding of their contribution to the organisation's performance.
- Adhere to CDE policy and practice.
- Carry out other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
