Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (OTE £45,000+) + Overtime @ 1.5x
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30, 17:00 finish in winter months

The client:

  1. 29 days holiday including bank holidays
  2. Overtime available at 1.5X midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays

The Duties:

  1. Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, trailers etc)
  2. 70% field based / 30% based at their workshop in Blandford Forum - paid door to door when out in the field
  3. Carry out diagnostics to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery
  4. The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered.
  5. Working on engines, batteries and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.

The Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  2. Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry experience (essential)
  3. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
  4. Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
  5. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  6. Full UK Drivers License
