Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As an Agricultural Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery.
  2. Carry out diagnostics to identify issues with engines, batteries, and hydraulics.
  3. Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and solutions are provided.
  4. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  2. Previous experience in the agricultural industry.
  3. Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience.
  4. Experience working with engines and batteries.
  5. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  6. Full UK Driver's License.
