Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a lovely young lady who has sustained a traumatic brain injury. You will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration, as well as supporting her to enjoy life to the full.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and moving and handling
  • Support our client to engage in activities she enjoys, such as going to the gym, horse riding, and cooking
  • Work collaboratively with our client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure her needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of our client's care and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care setting
  • Previous experience of working with individuals with brain injuries
  • A full, clean UK driving license
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
