Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic SEN Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children who require additional support in a 'GOOD' Ofsted rated rural primary school located just outside of Nantwich.

About the Role

This long-term position involves providing daily support to a child with Autism, helping them develop their communication, social, emotional, and interaction skills. As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering speech and language care plans, monitoring progress, and supporting reading and sentence writing sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for the child
  • Support the child's learning and development through engaging activities
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate effectively with the teaching staff
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and creativity. You should have experience working with children with Autism and be able to build strong relationships with both pupils and adults. A good understanding of literacy and numeracy skills is also essential.
