Nursing Assistant for Older Adults

As a Nursing Assistant on Sandford Ward, you will be part of a dynamic team providing person-centered care to individuals with acute or functional mental illnesses. Our 14-bedded male Older Adult Mental Health Ward is committed to promoting service users' recovery and return to their usual place of residence.

Main duties include contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and treatment in the ward environment. You will participate as a member of the nursing team in delivering care as prescribed in individual care plans, develop therapeutic relationships, and work collaboratively with clients to meet their care needs.
