Painter and Decorator Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at De Vere Latimer Estate. As a key member of our hotel maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating tasks to the highest standard, ensuring minimum disruption to guests and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out painting and decorating tasks, including preparation, application, and finishing.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting De Vere's quality expectations.
  • Work safely and efficiently, minimizing disruption to guests and colleagues.
  • Participate in general maintenance work, as required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience and knowledge of painting and decorating in a large-scale venue.
  • Dedication to working to a high standard.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience of general maintenance tasks.
