About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Mercury Hampton. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for growing sales, new accounts, and repeat business, as well as developing the commercial growth strategy for our company in design and engineering machining services.

About the Company:

Our client is a successful, profitable, subcontract manufacturing company based in the Northwest of England. They have invested heavily in new machinery, multi-axis, and are now looking for a new senior sales professional to take the company to full capacity, win new customers, and grow the business.

About the Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Director to take ownership and progress to Managing Director. You will work closely with the existing Managing Director with a view to moving up when he retires. The company has full aerospace accreditation, new state-of-the-art machinery, and robotic systems, as well as a brilliant talented engineering team to support you in design and delivery of quality components on time.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent proven track record in contract engineering manufacturing service sales
  • CNC and Axis Milling Services experience
  • Experience in Mechanical Components and Engineering
  • Contacts within aerospace, automotive, rail, and other industries
  • Ambition to take ownership and progress to Managing Director
  • Integrity to give an honest assessment on the company pipeline
  • Diligence to ensure all trials are completed to the highest quality standards
  • Strong Leadership Qualities, with the ability to develop into management and eventually General Management
