About the Role:


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to an individual with declining dementia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual with their daily living tasks, including personal care, preparing food, and maintaining hydration.
  • Provide companionship and keep the individual safe.
  • Accompany the individual on outings and visits to places of interest.


Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in providing high-quality care and building close working relationships with the individual and their family.
  • Kindness, empathy, and a caring attitude.
  • Reliability, commitment, and the ability to develop trust and understanding in the role.


Training will be provided on the management of the individual's stoma and catheter. Enhanced DBS clearance is essential. A supportive working pattern will be provided, and food and drinks will be available while on shift. The hourly rate is £13.
