As an Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator at Athena Care Homes, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality activities programme that enhances the lives of our residents.

About the Job:

The Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering a range of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to individual resident needs and preferences
  • Engaging with residents in meaningful conversation and supporting them in making informed choices
  • Accurately recording all activities completed and reporting any concerns to the line manager
  • Working to the Athena Visions and Values

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a care environment, preferably with a focus on activities and lifestyle support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of dementia is highly advantageous
