Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, and you will be working with a female client who requires support with personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration. You will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
  • You must be a driver with a full clean UK driving licence.
  • You must have previous care experience and an understanding of brain injury.
  • This post is exempt under The Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 Part 1, and we are looking for a female Support Worker only.
  • You must be prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
  • You must be willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
  • You must respect Company policies and procedures.
  • You must be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate.
  • You must be committed to confidentiality and treat the client with dignity and respect.

This vacancy is for a Support Worker to join our client's support package to support them in their own home. We will be your legal employer on behalf of the client, and you will not be asked to support other clients. All of our contracts are for permanent positions with a 6-month probationary period.
