**Clinical Fellow in Stroke Medicine Job Opportunity**

About the Role

This 12-month clinical fellow position in stroke medicine is available to doctors who have completed foundation year 2 training or equivalent. The role offers clinical supervision and support for appraisal and progression into a suitable training program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Acute Stroke Unit, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective stroke services, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects, promoting evidence-based practice and innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have completed foundation year 2 training or equivalent and possess prior experience in an acute stroke unit, although this is not essential. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a supportive learning environment is essential.

Work Environment and Benefits

The Acute Stroke Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is a 20-bed acute unit offering a 24-hour Thrombolysis service, admitting approximately 900 patients annually. As a member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including excess travel and relocation expenses, if applicable.

**Estimated Salary:** £40,257 - £60,441 per annum, depending on experience.
