**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team in NHS National Services Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of medical equipment devices, including commissioning, calibration, performance assurance, and repair.

As a key member of our Medical Equipment Management service, you will work across ten hospital sites, collaborating with highly trained clinical engineer technologists who are experts on medical equipment. You will receive both manufacturer and in-house specialist training to develop your skills and enable you to effectively manage complex equipment.

**What We Offer**

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, annual leave, and discounts.

**Job Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology
  • Postgraduate experience in medical equipment management
  • Experience in the service, repair, and fault finding of medical equipment
  • Understanding of clinical, scientific, and engineering principles of medical devices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
