About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwifery educator to join our team at the University of Northampton. As a midwifery lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students, and contributing to the development of our midwifery curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver midwifery education programs that meet the needs of our students and the healthcare sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure the relevance and quality of our midwifery education.
- Contribute to the development of our midwifery research agenda and engage in research activities that enhance our understanding of midwifery practice.
- Support the professional development of our midwifery staff and students, and contribute to the development of our midwifery community.
Requirements
- Master's degree in midwifery or a related field.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a midwife.
- Experience in midwifery education and research, and a commitment to the University of Northampton's research agenda.
