Job Overview:

Aesthetic Search is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's aesthetic clinic in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic, adhering to legal regulations and internal policies, and maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinic Operations Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
    • Implement and monitor operational procedures to improve patient care and clinic performance.
    • Ensure all clinic facilities, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and in compliance with regulations.
  • Staff Management:
    • Lead and manage clinic staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
    • Ensure staff adherence to clinic policies, protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to ensure high staff morale and productivity.
  • Patient Care:
    • Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring that all services meet regulatory and quality guidelines.
    • Act as the main point of contact for patient concerns or complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure the clinic operates in full compliance with healthcare regulations, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and other industry standards.
    • Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes and update clinic policies accordingly.
    • Coordinate with legal counsel and external advisors to interpret and apply new or existing regulations.
  • Financial and Budget Management:
    • Oversee clinic budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled effectively.
    • Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for financial growth and operational improvements.
  • Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement a risk management program to identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
    • Ensure incidents related to compliance or patient care are properly documented, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit reports to senior management, covering operational performance, financials, and any compliance issues.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all clinic operations, audits, and staff training.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure clinic staff are well-prepared and fully understand their roles and responsibilities.
    • Ensure ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven experience in staff supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinic operations, and patient care standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.

Additional Information:

  • Occasional travel may be required to other clinic locations or for training purposes.
  • The Clinic Manager is expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
