Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly rated Primary School in Cambridge. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage One.

Job Summary:
  • Support students with a range of SEN in a dynamic and inclusive environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote academic and personal progress
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Monitor and record student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Requirements:
  • Qualification to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with SEN students, either paid or voluntary
  • Passion for working in Primary Education
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Registered DBS or willingness to apply
