About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Musical Director to lead our adult choir, Di Voci Women's Choir. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding the choir in their musical development, ensuring they deliver high-quality performances, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct rehearsals and performances, providing musical direction and guidance to the choir.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive musical plan, including repertoire selection and arrangement.
  • Collaborate with the choir to create a positive and productive rehearsal environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the choir, committee, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful season.
  • Recruit and retain members, promoting the choir's values and mission.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in conducting adult choirs, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong musical knowledge and qualifications, including a degree in music or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • A passion for choral music and a commitment to the choir's values and mission.
