Insurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team at Direct Line Group plc. As an Insurance Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling insurance claims and providing excellent customer service to our policyholders.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in insurance claims handling. You will work closely with our experienced claims team to resolve claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle insurance claims from initial contact to resolution, ensuring that all claims are handled in a fair and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to policyholders, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with our claims team to resolve claims, using your analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our insurance products and policies, ensuring that you can provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as underwriting and customer service, to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in insurance claims handling.
