Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Developer to join our team. As an Oracle OEBS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering ERP applications, ensuring the security and efficiency of our automated financial systems.

About the Role

As a key member of our IT team, you will work closely with stakeholders to define user requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure technical documentation is completed and maintained. Your expertise in Oracle Applications Framework, including JDeveloper, will be crucial in providing ongoing technical support, design, documentation, and implementation of various workflow processes and solutions for Oracle EBS application.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and administer ERP applications.
  • Set up and maintain application security, responsibilities, and roles.
  • Ensure appropriate set-up and security decisions are made for the database by working with the Database Administrator.
  • Assist in the installation of the ERP applications on user PCs.
  • Perform system analysis, including requirements definition, conceptual/detail design, conversion/implementation planning, system administration, and system documentation.
  • Develop functional expertise of organizational units supported.
  • Develop custom functionality utilizing PL/SQL and Oracle Applications Framework, including JDeveloper.
  • Develop reports utilizing SQL queries and Oracle Discoverer.

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge and experience with Oracle Applications Framework, including applications development and systems analysis, design, and application problem resolution and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to define user requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure technical documentation is completed and maintained.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • Experience with Oracle applications required.
