Role Summary

As a key member of the Employment Unit team, this individual will play a critical role in promoting career progression and delivering exceptional employment services to sworn employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement career progression programs to support the growth and development of sworn employees
  • Prepare and administer promotional testing, ensuring accuracy and fairness throughout the process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address career development opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to sworn employees, ensuring timely and accurate responses to employment inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee promotions, transfers, and demotions

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, including employment recruitment and selection processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform career development strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and sworn employees
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and data entry software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Oracle eBusiness Suite (OEBS), Cardinal, and PageUp
  • Knowledge of the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM) policies and procedures related to employment
  • Experience working with third-party testing providers, such as proctors, remote testing services, and testing facilities
