About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and driven RMN Deputy Ward Manager to join our dynamic team in a leading mental health care setting. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will provide essential nursing leadership, supporting the Ward Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership on the ward, supporting the nursing team to deliver excellent clinical care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including close coordination with the site Consultant Psychiatrist, to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation.
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and ensure high standards of care.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects on the ward, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
About You

We are looking for an active Registered Mental Health Nurse with clinical supervision experience, who is committed to Continued Professional Development and leadership. You will have highly developed communication skills, good computer skills, and experience in Mental Health services. At least 3 years of post-registration experience is required.
