At Boldyn Networks, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead with extensive knowledge and expertise in the rail sector. This pivotal role involves leading a team of engineers in the design, implementation, and optimisation of systems and their integration with the existing railway infrastructure that are essential to the operation and advancement of our projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities are aligned with industry standards and best practices, continuously driving technical excellence, safety, efficiency, quality, and innovation.

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers in the development of rail sector infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with other functions, including project controls, delivery, finance, commercial, and procurement.
  • Coordinate with other leaders within the project to ensure that multi-discipline interfaces are properly addressed with resolution of technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all project requirements are met through comprehensive design packs and associated documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure development, with extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant LU/TFL and Network Rail processes and standards. They will also have a proven track record of driving innovation and improving efficiency within engineering teams.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities comply with industry standards and best practices. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of right first time, excellent partnership with suppliers and customers, and clear ownership identified and applied.
