An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Life Skills Coach to support an individual with autism in her daily life, fostering independence and well-being within her home and local community.
Job OverviewThis part-time role involves assisting the individual in developing essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and financial management. You will promote her independence by supporting her in accessing local services and activities.
Main Responsibilities- Supporting the development of life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and financial management
- Fostering independence by facilitating access to local services and activities
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment within the home and community
We are seeking an empathetic and patient individual with a passion for helping others. Experience working with individuals with autism or similar conditions is desirable.
Working Conditions and BenefitsThis is a part-time position, requiring a commitment of 12 hours per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The hourly rate is £11.60, and you will be entitled to paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
