**The Role**:
Our Marketing & Communications team is growing and we have a new opportunity for an Internal Communications Business Partner to join us in an exciting role. You will be passionate about storytelling and colleague engagement and you will be responsible for developing and delivering the internal communications plan, along with creating engaging & fresh content that supports Avove in achieving its ambition of creating a working environment where everyone feels empowered, motivated, trusted and values.
To do this you will support our People & Culture and HSEQ teams with their campaigns; promoting our EDI and ESG activities, interview colleagues for news stories and colleague case studies and produce the weekly internal newsletters and monthly manager briefing packs. This is a permanent role of hybrid nature and we are accepting applicants who are able to work from either our Chorley or Birmingham office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with teams across the business to identify engaging content, such as colleague stories and project case studies for internal and external use
- Create the content for our weekly newsletters and manager packs - this will include updates on D&I, health and safety and wellbeing initiatives
- Supporting Avove's Communities of Practice and communicating their achievements
- Develop engaging content for and coordinating the leadership colleague briefings and roadshows
- Keeping the intranet updated with the latest news and information
- Support the promotion and delivery of our sustainability and social impact agenda through colleague engagement activities
- Other writing support and proofreading for the wider team
**Skills & Experience**:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to capture and audiences attention and adapt your writing skills to meet different needs
- High attention to details and confident at writing, proofreading and editing copy
- Multi-campaign management, ensuring the right messages are delivered at the right time
- Previous experience in organising events and be proactive and creative at coming up with new ideas that elevate our comms output
- Great relationship building skills, you must have the ability to work collaboratively with all teams and engage colleagues who are in operational roles
- Time management, fantastic eye for detail and organised
- Previous experience of writing colleague newsletters, case studies and press releases and of updating an intranet, preferably Sharepoint
- 3 years people management experience
